Active Now!

Ellen Reid SOUNDWALK is an immersive audio experience tailor-made for Lincoln Center & Central Park, free to the public, and created with social distancing guidelines in mind.

After installing the free app and downloading the Central Park SOUNDWALK, participants can explore the park's entire 853 acres, triggering musical cells that were carefully crafted to harmonize with the park's landscape and attractions. The experience is guided by the listener: the path you choose dictates the music you hear, and no two visits will be exactly the same.

SOUNDWALK will be available in Lincoln Center and Central Park free of charge through 2026.

Land Acknowledgement
The team behind SOUNDWALK gratefully acknowledges that, as we gather in Central Park, we are on the lands of the Lenape. Native communities have remained present and have thrived here in Mannahatta in spite of centuries of settler colonial violence perpetrated against their lives and livelihoods. We recognize and respect the historical Indigenous inhabitants of this land, as well as Native communities across the Americas.
